Hello y’all! We hope everyone is enjoying their Friday and suiting up for a solid weekend whether that’s doing something big, or curling up on the couch at home! We are so thrilled about having Lisa and Ryan on the blog today. To be completely honest, this post is SO long overdue. The time we spent with these two and their sweet boy, Jack Brown, was outrageously good. We drove over from Brooklyn and spent the evening at their home and had an incredible time. The engagement session was already special, but it held extra significance because the home pictured is no longer where Ryan and Lisa live. It was great to document the two in their natural element in a place they made so many lovely memories together over the years.

When we arrived, these guys had a small buffet of deliciousness set up and ready to go – Talk about amazing freaking hosts, am I right? We enjoyed adult beverages, we snacked, we joked, we played games, we had fun. From shooting around their apartment with their little boss-man, Jack Brown, to exploring Alexandria and its rich history, there wasn’t a single dull moment. When the shooting wrapped up, we went home, changed clothes, and went out for some oysters and drinks loaded with spectacular conversation.

There’s really not enough accolades to toss Lisa and Ryan’s way. They’re phenomenal hosts, but most importantly, they’re just phenomenal people with hearts of gold. Saying we’re excited to see them again for the wedding is a massive understatement. We hope y’all have as much fun and feel as much love from these photos as we do. This was a day we’re always going to remember. And to Lisa and Ryan, thank you for letting us into your lives. You are some beautiful souls!
