Well, friends, here it is! Our last wedding of 2015 is officially gracing the blog. It’s an ambivalent feeling to be honest. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our year went, but we hate to see it go. However, even though we have to say goodbye, we are imbued with more excellent memories than we can possibly count. Not to mention, we are really stoked that it’s Caleb and Ashley’s big day serving as the grand finale for 2015 weddings.
Caleb and I are old friends. We met close to 10 years ago in Tulsa, OK, at a punk/hardcore fest in which both of our bands played. Caleb has always been one of the most genuine and down to earth dudes. Not only is he a great guy, he’s a dude that supports what he loves and believes in with his whole heart. He has so many great qualities that evoke admiration that going on why he’s one of my favorite dudes out there is futile because it would take entirely too long.
Enter Ashley… This young woman is something else. A smile that can melt you and a demeanor that’s instantly inviting, she’s officially one of our favorite brides we’ve worked with to date. I already knew Caleb was a great person, so it wasn’t difficult concluding that Ashley would be as well. Meeting her the first time the night before the nuptials and that sentiment was confirmed as truth; Whit and I fell in love. Oh, and we must mention, she and her ladies were responsible for creating the gorgeous bouquets and boutineers. They were lovely.
I could go on at great length about these two. I can tell you how incredible they are together. You can see it by the way their friends and family look at them. I can tell you how they’re bad ass parents of the coolest nature that almost make Whit and I want to have kids of our own. Almost. I can tell you how they surround themselves with quality souls that lift them up in more ways than one. I can tell you a lot, but the truth is, I would rather let the photos do the talking here. I do want to say, however, that these two inspire Whit and I. We think a lot of them if you haven’t figured that out yet. We are so grateful that we could spend our last wedding of the year, and Halloween no less, with Caleb, Ashley, and their beautiful friends and families.
We have a couple of engagements left to blog for the year, then we might do one of those “Best of” recaps for 2015. We will see. It’s been a wildly awesome year for us and we have so much to be grateful for. It’s a rad feeling.
Congrats to Caleb and Ashley once more. You guys kill it in every way imaginable.
Be sure to leave these two some love in the comments/LIKEs section below!
Take care and talk soon!
